I am also an Adjunct Professor at the Fisher School of Business at The Ohio State University where I teach a graduate course on Commercial and Social Franchising. In addition to the FTC Rule, several states have adopted alternatives to the FTC’s definition of franchising and have enacted state franchise regulations.
